Dont know if this has been mentioned yet...

You should be aware of the difference between jack headsets and the USB headsets. With a USB headset you cant switch "on the fly" from speakers to headset and visa versa while in game. A USB headset has a internal SB device. So if you are in the game and you plug in you USB headset you wont hear anything. First you have to close down the app, plug in the USB headset, start up the APP and then you are okay.

The same with unplugging your USB headset to have sound over your speakers: first close the app, unplugg the USB, restart the app and sound is over the speakers. This happens because windows can only handle 1 soundsource. That is the only reason i dont use a USB headset.

Without sollutions there aren't any problems

I origionally would buy the cheapest headset available but they were forever breaking one way or another (no great surprise)

So then decided to spend a bit more for these

by Sennheiser.

I've not been disapointed since.
