converting old missions

Is it possible to convert an original lock on mission to a flaming cliffs mission

- a chap called Ironhand made a mission called

"The Crimean tour" as a show flight with loads of sights around the map I'd like to convert it to fc2 or A10c and fly it with the updated terrain graphics

 

or a way of getting the waypoints so i could re do it (i have never created a mission myself so far)

I would say no. The different versions of LO and LO FC are not compatible, and a vanilla LO mission will not run (properly) in LO FC 1, if at all.

no it will not even be recognised as a file in fc 2 so is there a way of getting a list of the way points and then inputting them in to fc2 ?

In a LO mis file, the routing points look like this:
