DCS.exe has encountered a problem...

Just bought and installed the game, activated the protection etc. and now every time I try to start a mission, I get the error message:

"dcs.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."

And the sim goes straight to the debriefing screen.

System setup is:

Processor: Intel E4400 core2 duo 2.0Ghz

Motherboard: ASUS P5K-E

Memory: 2.0Gb

GFX: Nvidia Geforce 8800GTS - 320Mb

I have uploaded the contents of my Temp folder including the .crash file, and my Dxdiag as well.

 

I have tried with my JS plugged in, and not, and also with an alternative keyboard.

Update

 

I have just installed the latest patch, and it works OK, but I really wanted to work through the training tracks.

Is there a work-around for this?
