Arcturus323 Posted January 24, 2011 Posted January 24, 2011 Hello everyone. Kinda new at the learning the finer points to military flight simulations, However I have spent a great deal of time in the air and feel its time to start learning something about Navigation and ILS. Right now I have been going out on missions in DCS A-10c and when I call in to see were they need my help. I get a little lost on which target there talking about. I get a map location and what type of target it is. I don't know what to do next in finding that target other then visually seeking it out. I need to learn what to do with the map information. is there a video or printed material I could get help from. Thanks. aaron886 Posted January 24, 2011 Posted January 24, 2011 There is a huge amount of information that comes in the manual that comes with the beta... it's in the "Doc" folder in your DCS A-10C directory. You can also search for tutorials on youtube, or try using the interactive training missions in the sim (which last I checked were a little buggy.)
Arcturus323 Posted January 24, 2011 Author Posted January 24, 2011 Thanks. Yeah I found the manual but there is nothing easy about getting the correct information quickly. *L* I am going over it and trying to learn what I can. For me its much more easy to watch and learn I guess. I can only hope the training missions will go into more deal once the Beta testing is complete and the full version is in stores. GGTharos Posted January 24, 2011 Posted January 24, 2011 You are probably not finishing the conversation with the JTAC. Continue the radio communication until he sends you a digital 9-Line including your target location on the map, shown as a red triangle.
