lvl4f Posted January 28, 2011 Posted January 28, 2011 Hello to all, I would like to know if some person knows how to move the yellow triangle of the barometric Altimeter, with the dial I can fit the Q.F.E, but I cannot move the yellow triangle of the barometric altimeter.
mvsgas Posted January 28, 2011 Posted January 28, 2011 Que yo sepa no se puede mover. As far as I know you can't move it To whom it may concern, I am an idiot, unfortunately for the world, I have a internet connection and a fondness for beer....apologies for that. Thank you for you patience. Many people don't want the truth, they want constant reassurance that whatever misconception/fallacies they believe in are true..
Henchman14 Posted January 28, 2011 Posted January 28, 2011 I think its one of those "non-functional" items.
msalama Posted January 28, 2011 Posted January 28, 2011 I think its one of those "non-functional" items. I don't think it's actually meant to be movable, but rather a fixed zero-point indicator for setting the QFE, etc. Please correct me if I'm wrong, though. The DCS Mi-8MTV2. lvl4f Posted January 28, 2011 Author Posted January 28, 2011 Thanks for the answers, I believe that it is an indicator of sure height, like that of the radar altimeter, but I do not see the way of calibrating it.
msalama Posted January 28, 2011 Posted January 28, 2011 (edited) ...but I do not see the way of calibrating it. No, that's the point, it's not meant to be adjustable. It's immovable and just indicates your calibration reference point, i.e. you adjust your barometric altitude to it. Hope this helps :) Edited January 28, 2011 by msalama The DCS Mi-8MTV2. lvl4f Posted January 28, 2011 Author Posted January 28, 2011 Well i see, it works otherwise, it is not the yellow indicator the one that moves, it is only a reference to adjust the needles. Good point msalama, thanks.
