mondaysoff Posted February 13, 2011 Posted February 13, 2011 Hi, hope somebody can help, just purchased DCS Blackshark, installed OK, heard about patch 1.0.2 so downloaded and installed. First problem starting the game getting a blank main menu screen with only clickable radio buttons, no text no background image (image attached), multi-player menu is fine, second problem, before I can play the game I need to do some training, I get a message saying you have to uninstall the latest patch to view training manuals. Apologies for any mistakes, first time on a forum. Quite disappointed with BS so far. Mondaysoff.

I get a 'Blank Main Menu'....I hear the music playing, but see nothing to select with the mouse. when I go to close the window, it just asks....do I really want to close the program,...and give me a 'Yes' and 'No' to choose from!....What do I need to do? Rwolf Posted May 6, 2011 Posted May 6, 2011 (edited) I've had the same with my BS since day 1 (and made a bugreport about it). The image overlay seems to be misplaced/invisible, but the menu actually works - just click on the buttons. But what are the selections you ask? Look in the game manual, there the missing single-player menu is printed, so you can make yourself a printout hardcopy to refer to. (e.g. pdf GUI manual pg 4, or paper manual pg 20) Probably this is a graphics card/driver dependent bug. (I have an ATI X1950 running XP64 btw.) Edited May 6, 2011 by Rwolf
