Hi. My slewable cursor on my warthog throttle hotas is a bit sensitive: move a smidgin and it goes for a mile. Anyone know how to make it slower and more able to be finely controlled? Thanks.

try to tune the axis in the configuration. I set it from 15 to 20.

Or you change the MAV slew rate in the MDF itself.

You are welcome to my DCS A-10 server "Ugly Bastards".

Options / Controls / select "Axis commands" from the category drop-down.

Find the slew control and click on the table cell corresponding to the X axis in the column for the throttle to select it. Then click on the AXIS TUNE button at the bottom of the screen. You can add a curvature, increase the deadzone, and decrease the saturation (i.e. maximum value). Then repeat for the Y axis.

You might need to play around with different settings to see what you prefer. The actual ministick is pretty sensitive and very hard to control accurately (at least for me, but maybe I'm a klutz?) so it's likely you'll have to settle for 'good enough'.

One idea is to use the user-curve setting to set up a series of 'steps', which might give you a 'slow', 'medium' and 'fast' speed, or if you can't get enough accuracy on that, just 'slow' and 'fast'.

Oh and also: you can control the speed of the TGP & TAD & TDC (I think) within the sim. On the STAT page, hit the NEXT button at the top left, scroll down to THROTTLE, and there's speed setting you can enter. Higher values are slower. I used to 8, but now I tend to use 7.5 since entering a decimal using the UFC makes me feel pretty smart.

You can also adjust the Maverick slew rate, but in that case lower numbers are slower. This is done from the MAV page.
