F2 aircraft view

when applying F2 (aircraft view), the a/c is shown in a very large scale (wings and tails are not visible especially multi engined a/c like the B-52,hence zoomout is needed to see the entire plane.)Is there a way to get by default, a "smaller" view of an a/c in adjusting some lua file?
