SmokeyTheLung Posted March 25, 2011 Posted March 25, 2011 (edited) I'm setting up a mission that's to include a B-1 lancer carpet bombing a position on the map. I can't seem to get him to drop more than 2 weapons. I set the "expend" drop-down to the value I'm looking for, and all seems well. However, on selecting another unit than rechecking that option, the "expend" menu is grayed out with nothing selected. I had no issues with this in the beta builds. Any ideas? Edit; Task is set as "bombing" Payload is selected (84 mark 82s) there are no SAMs or AAA in the area, reaction to threat is set as no reaction Edited March 25, 2011 by SmokeyTheLung System specifications: Computer, joystick, DCS world, Beer

nomdeplume Posted March 27, 2011 Posted March 27, 2011 To get the 'expend amount' option to stick you need to specify the type of weapon to engage with. i.e. 'iron bomb' for Mk-8x.
SmokeyTheLung Posted March 27, 2011 Author Posted March 27, 2011 re-installed the game/patch and the problem was gone. To get the 'expend amount' option to stick you need to specify the type of weapon to engage with. i.e. 'iron bomb' for Mk-8x. I was able to enter all the fields, but the settings weren't persistent. If I selected another unit and then went back the settings would be grayed out. Seems fine now. System specifications: Computer, joystick, DCS world, Beer
