Le0kong Posted March 28, 2011 Posted March 28, 2011 Great narration! Just a direct explanation, no Library of Congress/Car analogies. Talking in a calm way, not like everything is about to explode. Much better then the normal Discovery/HistoryChannel/NG exaggerated narrators. AMD Athlon II X2 240 2.8@3360 MHz | MB Asus M4A78-EM | 4GB DDR2-800 Kingston | XFX HD 5770 @850-900/1200-1300 | 500G Samsung HD502HI | Case CM 335 | CM-EPP 460W | Windows 7 Ultimate (64bit) | Saitek X65F | Freetrack(Wii Remote) | LG 23' W2353V

mig29 Posted March 28, 2011 Posted March 28, 2011 A great video and it just triggered many questions within me again. Can anybody throw light on the following... Assuming the big-bang theory is correct... 1)The entire universe (or multiverse as some people say) was condensed into a tiny ball just before the big-bang. But where was this ball situated? I have hard time imagining that there was no space and there was nothing except the ball. Nothing?? 2)When did time start? I mean when was the time when t=0? Was it at the time of the big-bang? What was before t=0? 3)This universe has a size. What does this mean? Is there a specific boundary/border of the universe? Then there should be something beyond that. 4)Why everything started in the first place? Why there has to be a proton, electron or neutron?
