yonyz Posted April 1, 2011 Posted April 1, 2011 Before formatting my PC, I have backed up the C:\Program Files (x86)\Eagle Dynamics\Ka-50\BlackShark\data\scripts\Logbook\players.lua file, because I have completed several missions in the Deployment campaign. After reinstalling the game, I've copied the file to the right folder, replaced with the existing one, but my pilot doesn't appear in the Logbook, and of course, the Deployment campaign's status is Inactive. :helpsmilie:
yonyz Posted April 1, 2011 Author Posted April 1, 2011 (edited) OK, that's weird. I have deleted the Players.lua file from the Data/scripts folder of the installed game, and the game still remembers my kill ratio and other logbook information. WTF and, more importantly, why doesn't it read the old Players.lua file I put there? Update: Fixed it. The Players.lua file, at least on Windows 7, needs to be placed here, and not in the Program Files folder: C:\Users\yonyz\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\Eagle Dynamics\Ka-50\BlackShark\data\scripts\Logbook Edited April 1, 2011 by yonyz
