anybody from foxflag 2007 falcon op still around??

Hi All

 

trying to find some of the guys in a major Falcon op called "Fox Flag" from December 2007.

 

the guys that were part of it will remember...

 

To the rest: around 65 pilots inc. reserves took part of a red flag look a like op in 2007 December.

 

Some of you might be flying or trying dsc A-10 today :)

 

reason....time to do it again :)

 

changes from 2007:

Pro's:

1. more bandwidth and more stable worldwide

2: Nevada map coming soon (we hope)

3: Mission editor to really support it

4: Tars radio ops (haven't tried it yet but it sounds promising)

5. Prober working Tac-view for debrief.

6. Worldwide web is now smaller and more geared for an online experience like a sim co-op battle.

7: Jesus! Fox Flag was so much fun(though as hell but awesome)

 

Con's:

1. Nevada map not ready(not a big deal but still..)

2. Dsc A-10 is an infant sim still... (patches will make it better :))

3. large scale mp unproven.

 

Reason why it worked in 2007.

 

dedication and skill was there and nobody wanted to look like the fool, so it was pro's all around and people stepped up and over performed. Many thought it would crash and burn but it was done.

 

Now we have a better sim and a better and faster internet..
