davew Posted April 8, 2011 Posted April 8, 2011 On my Radeon HD 3870X2 I've always had screen tearing in LOMAC:FC2, no matter what I tried. Enabling vsync, D3D Overrider, ATI Tray Tools, you name it I tried it. Anyway to cut a long story short, I finally found a tool that did the job - Radeon Pro. I created a profile for "simulator.exe", set up the antialiasing etc. how I like it and then changed vsync to "Always On" in the Tweaks tab. Done, no more problems. There's quite a lot I don't like about Radeon Pro, and its taken me all afternoon to configure it for all my sims but now I am a happy bunny and can finally start playing FC2! :pilotfly: http://www.radeonpro.info
bekirkat Posted May 15, 2011 Posted May 15, 2011 Hi, I had the same problem. I managed to solve it by your way. Also later, I noticed a switch in Ati Tray Tools v1.7.9.1557. Go to Game Profiles / Manage Profiles / Direct3D Tweaks. Set "Force VSync (Vista workaround)" to "ON". This also worked for me.. You may ditch RadeonPro if you like now... Cheers...
