bunraku Posted April 12, 2011 Posted April 12, 2011 Hi. Any advice on dead zones for the X-52 Pro when flying the Hog? I wasn't going to bother, but i notice that my plane was moving slightly forward when at start up despite my throttle being fully back. So i assume a dead zone there's a must. Thanx
bunraku Posted April 20, 2011 Author Posted April 20, 2011 Bump!! I don't need deadzones, but advise on curvature would be appreciated!!
Heli Shed Posted April 21, 2011 Posted April 21, 2011 Deadzones 3, including rudder. Curvature 13-15 is good for me. leave the rest at 100. GL 'T' Come pay us a visit on YouTube - search for HELI SHED

I wasn't going to bother, but i notice that my plane was moving slightly forward when at start up despite my throttle being fully back. So i assume a dead zone there's a must. Thanx Just read this properly. 1. Right click on your x52pro flight control system icon in the clock region of the taskbar. 2. Select control panel. 3. make sure you note the Z axis on the test tab. 4. Move your throttle the full movement, fwd and aft. 5. with the throttle all the way to the rear, do you see any 'red' in the Z Axis? 6. If the answer is Yes, unplug your X52pro from your system. 7. Reboot. 8. plug back in 'after' windows has restarted. 9. Check 1-5 above, after windows has 'redetected'. This will solve your problem, trust me. I changed to these settings after having them set to 0 for so long and noticed a huge difference in my steadiness on the stick. Both X and Y axes: Deadzone = 3 Curve = +20 (at least I think this is the setting. I'm not at my home computer right now) I'm still homing in on the right setting, but this got me started in the right direction.
