Basically, how do I find out what stores my wingmen have remaining during a mission when engaged in combat?

ATM... I'm jumping to external view and literally looking under their wings to find out what they have left, after they've already unloaded some ordinance.

The simplistic radio response "unable" when giving them orders (because they've run out of a particular bomb or missile) seems ineffectual and jumping to external view breaks the first person immersion of staying in cockpit mode.

How do the real A10 pilots do it? Do they share DSMS data across aircraft, or use special radio responses?

Real pilots comunicate with radio.

In this sim, currently only f2 view (cheat) helps you discover that.

My testing also showed that if you order your wingman to attack enemy at my spi with, for example, mavericks, and he is out of mavericks, he will still report ok and engage enemy and than at last moment see that he is out of mavericks and abort.
