Herodotus Posted May 14, 2011 Posted May 14, 2011 (edited) Hi guys and fellow pilots, I am just getting used to flying this beast (now that i have a decent rig to run the Sim on) so am using "Game" Controls and overall difficulty for missions just to get a feel for the aircraft and weapon systems before I tackle the real grit of this marvellous Sim. However, when I press F2 (external view) I get these two huge graphical representations of the in-cockpit much smaller MFD's. While this might make it easier for novices like myself to navigate and attack a target from an external view, it is dreadfully ugly, really not practical and a pain. Does anyone know of a quick way to disable them? I appreciaie your patientce with a A-10C 'newbie'. Edited May 14, 2011 by Herodotus
hassata Posted May 14, 2011 Posted May 14, 2011 Hi. Check here: http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=991704&postcount=2 P.S. I have only tried this in simulation mode. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Herodotus Posted May 14, 2011 Author Posted May 14, 2011 Thanks hassata...worked just fine. Wish there was a way to switch them on and off in flight as navigationally it can be a bonus when in F4 or 'follow' mode.
