redeagleGER Posted July 25, 2005 Posted July 25, 2005 Hallo I still not gave up to search a way to implementate more than the normal 5 or 7 skinns that are choseable. (I know that the others also have to install them in my team to see them and that I maybe be invisible to those who dont have installed it) In some threats they talked about *.skin files. There are some in the bazar/world/shapes folder. U can open them with wordpad!For example the F18 has them. When u move them out of the folder and THEN start lockon u see the f18 almost invisible. only lines no painting. the *.skin file manages the different *.tga files for the different skins. so in my oppinion it must be possible to to make further *.tga files with ones own name and avatar and stuff on the skin and open them then for your plane. So if you rename for example the f18c.skin file to mig29c.skin and make that for every flyable plane, lockon maybe uses them to load the differnent skins. i changed some things in the f18c.skin file (to load other *.tga files)to see if there is an effect on the plane in lockon but until now it didnt.
