neutryno Posted June 11, 2011 Posted June 11, 2011 Howdy all! I would like to know if Thrust Vectoring Control is doable in FC2. Can someone insert thrust vectoring system in FC2?, like the MiG-35 and Su-37. I guess it's pretty hard to screw @ with the FC2 engine. So, what do you tink? Thrust vectoring.. is it possible in FC2? Thanks in advance! PS: Tom_Weiss from lockonfiles, told me "that DiD F-22 did not manage to implement it, something to do with the control laws being too complex to simulate without access to real data."

neutryno Posted June 11, 2011 Author Posted June 11, 2011 yeah but thought someone can do something about this...
Agg Posted June 13, 2011 Posted June 13, 2011 The biggest problem with thrust vectoring in FC2 is that only ED have access to the source code, which means what we, the community, are able to mod is fairly limited.
GGTharos Posted June 13, 2011 Posted June 13, 2011 It isn't doable for the exact same reason that DiD did not do it. It isn't a matter of just slapping TVC on the aircraft, there's a complex control system behind them, and FC2 doesn't even model the hydraulic control systems in the existing fighters, never mind TVC. You don't have any flyable aircraft in FC2 that uses them, anyway. Howdy all! I would like to know if Thrust Vectoring Control is doable in FC2. GGTharos Posted June 15, 2011 Posted June 15, 2011 No, we won't. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Reminder: SAM = Speed Bump :D I used to play flight sims like you, but then I took a slammer to the knee - Yoda
S77th-konkussion Posted June 15, 2011 Posted June 15, 2011 so you just want to arbitrarily slap TVC onto planes that do not have it other than perhaps a single test bed airframe... OK.... to each his own.. [sIGPIC]http://forums.eagle.ru/attachment.php?attachmentid=43337&d=1287169113[/sIGPIC]
Shinigami Posted June 26, 2011 Posted June 26, 2011 No, we won't. Way won't we have TVC. Is there a problem in implementing TVC???? La guerra, asi como es madrastra de los cobardes, es madre de los valientes. Cervantes. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

Shinigami Posted June 27, 2011 Posted June 27, 2011 Yea now I understand FC2 don't sim hydraulic but you could overcome that situation with tread base programing. Yea it wouldn't be real but at least the plane can move the nossle. shinigami Out.. La guerra, asi como es madrastra de los cobardes, es madre de los valientes. Cervantes. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
