I'm sure this has something to do with my settings somewhere... just don't know what settings to use or where to set them....

I have an HP 23" LCD 16:9 wide screen monitor that can do resolutions

up to 1920x1080.... my video card is an nVidia GTS250 XLR8 1MB...

My problem is when in a mission only about 2/3 of the width of my monitor is used, and the sides of the cockpit are chopped off... The title screen fills up the entire screen!!

So I figure I don't have something configured correctly. In game options I have tried various resolutions, without any change (width wise on the monitor)... the only thing that changed was the obvious clarity of detail.

Any ideas???

Thanks

Only thing that I can suggest (if you still haven't got it running properly) is that you check in "Options/System/Graphics" from the Main Menu.

In Resolution you want it set to 1920x1080, in Monitors "1Screen" and then enusre that the full screen box is ticked.

Try it then let us know.

My bad... I knew there was something I wasn't seeing and setting correctly. I didn't set the aspect ratio!!! DOH!!! NOW it looks like it should!!

Good.

You don't actually have to set the aspect ratio only the screen size and if you set 1screen it sets the aspect for you.

Glad you got it fixed anyway.
