Reading over flight manual I came across this...

P.449 Navigation section bullet Str Pt.

It says the following:

When landing at the Airfield at night with no ILS- No Glide slope available you can make the end of the runway the Steer Point and set up EGI to 3-D Nav so you use both CDI "STEER POINT BARS" to give heading and a "GPS" type glide path to touch down.

As a real world pilot I know what a GPS approach is and how it works but my question is for this game. Has anyone done this type of approach 3-D Nav?

Do you need to build the approach in the CDU...ex) Altitude fixes such as a final approach fix. how is the Glide path figured/calculated?

Is there a EGI 3-D Nav selection option? Thanks in advance. I think this would be useful bc many airfield do not have Glide Slopes and say your low on fuel Wx is low visabiltiy and only option is to land at nearest airport etc.

Thanks in adavance for your input.
