luckyluca Posted July 3, 2011 Posted July 3, 2011 Hello, I wanted to add an additional usb monitor ( or digital frame )for displaying checklists and maps on demand, for both a10c as well as x-plane. I'm undecided between a digital frame with touchscreen where I would store lots of .jpg and .pdfs, a usb monitor or a second hand ipad. I was thinking of putting it on the side in front slightly above the yoke. Suggestions and thoughts wanted please Thanks Luca This is my current pit: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=75188 Simultools
juankeiko Posted July 4, 2011 Posted July 4, 2011 Hi Luckyluca. I can tell you I have two 7-inch Mimo USB and are tactile. I have not tested digital frame, but if I saw a youtube video of someone if he has done. Anyway my recommendation is a USB touch screen, you can always use it if you change your mind for use in another things, like UFC,etc. Good FLights ;) ---=ONLY ANGELS FLY HIGHER=----[sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Cuando llegues al final de tu cuerda, haz un nudo y aguanta. I was put off because on youtube were complaining that they don't quite work for games because don't support directx and opengl, but suspect for most things we would be running external non-opengl and non-directx applications (moving maps etc.). Also I was a little confused there seems to be two brands, mymo and mimo? I was tempted by a nice and cheap android advent vega tablet which could be also used as second monitor but more likely as moving map for x-plane and just .pdf reader for a10. L Simultools

I can tell you that I am very happy and they are tactile. I can tell you if a picture frame can work with DCS A10-C Warthog ,these will Do. ---=ONLY ANGELS FLY HIGHER=----[sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Cuando llegues al final de tu cuerda, haz un nudo y aguanta.
