VBK_Sniper_1-1 Posted July 22, 2011 Posted July 22, 2011 Hello, I'm starting a very in-depth project with making an F-16 cockpit for the Block 52D F-16 currently in-game (its for a squadron) Modelling is not the part I am worried about (Well besides setting up the units I'm not worried) After I have modeled the cockpit itself, and textured it, I have no clue what I am supposed to do. I cant seem to find any cockpit files within the Lomac FC2 Directory for a reference. Are they in BlackShark? Any information, tutorials, ect that anyone can provide that would help me getting this cockpit out would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Sniper1-1 Aka Coyote
Michelange Posted July 22, 2011 Posted July 22, 2011 (edited) Hi, 3D cockpits are old CMD files in bazar/world/shapes like Kabina-SU-25T.cmd Here you have LO viewer. You can use it to look the CMD and LOM files. 2 weeks ago Ed gave us this CMD tools and OnePride this Script version 1.2 I dont know if you make a LOM in stead of a CMD file with ED's plugin (same topic as LO viewer) it will work. LOM files are more recent 3D models as CMD. I can't help more. ;) Edited July 22, 2011 by Michelange EVAC : French fighter school on LockOn: Flaming Cliffs Moding tutorials at C6
VBK_Sniper_1-1 Posted July 22, 2011 Author Posted July 22, 2011 (edited) Thanks a bunch Michelange! I have no clue where to get 3ds 3.1 though lol plus I dont read Russian so this is going to be a very long drawn out deal for me I guess. haha Edited July 22, 2011 by VBK_Sniper_1-1
VBK_Sniper_1-1 Posted July 23, 2011 Author Posted July 23, 2011 Actually I have heard of someone using the .LOM file format for a cockpit but it had to be shrunk to 1/3 of the length before export.
