Does anyone know if anyone has made an android version of the ipad-pit or icontrol dcs, but for the Android Tab 10.1? My Bday is in 2 days, and my wife (although I was sure we were getting an ipad for my bday so I could use a CDU) recently discovered the Tab 10.1 from her brother. It's a little larger, and can do "more" things (flash, usb inputs...) than the ipad. I really like the ipad, but part of my choosing the ipad was due to the cockpit.

So, anyone know if there is one available and can tell me by tomorrow everyone's time?

Anyone? We're going out shopping in a little while and will be looking at the two. If there's a pit for the Android, I'll get the Galaxy Tab. If not... well, I either get the tab and wait or get the ipad now.

I think it was the iControl pit that is entering development for Android, but it isn't ready yet. I keep mixing the two together though so... one of them will possibly be available, but I don't know when. I can wait though - as soon as it gets released I'll get that and a Transformer. :)

See here - I think it's what you're looking for.

I just ordered an Asus Transformer, myself. Did alot of comparisons and it seems the best bang for the buck when you buy it in a bundle with the keyboard dock that basically turns it into a netbook. Plus 16 hours of battery life is really hard to beat. :)

Edit: Just got home and my new Asus Transformer was delivered. So far I'm very impressed with this little gadget. The keyboard will take some getting used to but it's much easier for typing then a touch screen. I highly recommend if you're looking for a tablet. :)
