Griffon345 Posted August 20, 2011 Posted August 20, 2011 Hi all: first question, thanks in advance for the help. Has anyone used the G940 rudder pedals with a TM Warthog? I have the peds connected through the G940 Joystick. This ain't elegant, there must be a better way. Wondering if a simple 9-pin to usb connector will work?
Haggart Posted August 20, 2011 Posted August 20, 2011 If I remember correctly, it won't as it's a standard sub-d-connector only because of convenience and the protocol data is totally different. And secondary, there's no support for serial/serial-usb attached input devices in modern os, sorry. You'll have to stick with the G940, can't break that package. There's no "Overkill". There's only "open fire!" and "time to reload". Specs: i7-980@4,2Ghz, 12GB RAM, 2x GTX480, 1x 8800GTS, X-Fi HD, Cougar, Warthog, dcs-F16-pedals
brydling Posted August 20, 2011 Posted August 20, 2011 (edited) With some reverse engineering and a joystick card you can do it. For example a BU0836. /Niclas Edited August 20, 2011 by brydling Digital-to-Synchro converter for interfacing real aircraft instruments - Thread Check out my High Input Count Joystick Controller for cockpit builders, with support for 248 switches, 2 POV hats and 13 analog axes.
