Here is my first ever lock on video - "Come and Get It" - It's low quality until I find a suitable host.

I have some questions about movie making.

If I wanted widescreen format for playing back on HDTV what should I capture and render at what resolution that would match an HDTV widescreen?

Also I heard of a program that could trim the top and bottom of a video clip so that I could use to get rid of the text and stuff at the top of the screen and also would need this program I suppose to make the video 16:9 format widescreen. I think it called virtual dub or something like that. Is this what I should use?

I have only MS moviemaker and actually like it for what I do. I know it's limited but a good start so please no Vegas or Premiere tips cause I have to do everything with virtual dub and FRAPS.

Also, is there a way I can get rid of the annoying BETTY sounds and also the cockpit warning buzzers? I noticed that even if I am playing back a track and viewing another plane or outside view if I am pulling too much Gs it will still have betty sounds and warning sounds in the other views. Do you all just turn the volume down for that stuff in the audio config of LOCKON when capturing? is that the trick? thanks

Wasn't bad for your first try, did you use Fraps to capture the movie? Because I plan on making a carrier landing movie when I get time to help some squad memebers out.
