Hello everybody,

does anybody know if there is a way to use the two scroll-wheels on the x52 pro MFD´s without the MFD (Which is mostly limited to FSX)? Since they are endless rotating those would be the perfect switches for tuning the radios in the A-10. I know that the MFD is accesible via scripting, but I don´t know much about that stuff. Perhaps it is possible to have some kind of universal script that just emulates a button press? Or maybe you can even assign them directly by adding their ID´s to the Saitek profile?

After playing a little bit with my stick :music_whistling: I found out that the wheels are actually registered under the Saitek page in the windows control panel. The left wheel button is labeled as button #32 and the right one has #39. Scrolling up or down shows a reaction but has no # attached to it (but I found out they have #33 and #34 for the left wheel and #40 / #41 for the right wheel. The interesting part is that if you leave your windows control panel Saitek page open then scrolling up and down gets registerd and you can assign them via the controler options in DCS A-10. Problem with that solution is that the ministick config (which I did with the Saitek profiler to pan around with the targeting pod) doesn´t work anymore. The stick gets then registered as it default mouse mode. Perhaps the solution is to edit the Saitek profile wit a text editor to add the buttons to the profile by hand. I tried adding a line [button=0x00090033 name=XYZ] for button #33 but that didn´t do the the trick. I assume that there must be more added under the commands section, but my knowledge is too limited to reach anything there. Anybody has an idea? It´s a pitty to have those MFD buttons on that pretty much useless MFD and not being able to assign them. They could be very handy...
