Throttle setup built in joytisck

Hello guys I am new here and need some help.

 

I have a joystick from Power Wave that has a built in throttle (z axis), 12 buttons, twist rudder and the knob on the top that allows me to look around the cockpit.

 

Everything works fine apart from the throttle. When I go to the throttle (flight controls) settings I can't find the setup choice for it and I am bit clueless at this stage in what to do. I had a quick look in the forum threads and I couldn't find anything similar.

 

This Power Wave joystick is a cheap choice but it works really well with MS flight sim. Drivers are fully installed and I have Win 7 64.

 

Can anyone help me with that?

I assume you are talking about black shark if so try programming your stick throttle to the in game axis control collective not the throttle.also you may need to tune it in the axis tune part of the controls.

Hi, sorry I should be a bit more specific... It's for the A10 Warthog. I found the axis setup for both throttles in the game's interface and assigned the Z axis which is the one for the throttle lever but it doesn't seem to be picking up. It only works with Num+ and Num- on my keyboard which is pointless to use as my joystick has a throttle...

 

I don't mind the complexity of this game during gameplay but I seem to be spending a lot of time configuring it and not actually learning how to fly the A10... *frustrated*

Don't worry anymore I found out what was wrong...

 

I was changing the Game mode settings, not the Sim mode...
