BS2 Upgrade & language localized installation of BS1

Hi,

 

i purchased the German verison of BS1, but the upgrade is for EN verisons only or does it work also with the localized versions of BS1?

 

Maybe some of you have already installed it over the localized version (GE FR) and can supply some information.
