Gunnergolly Posted December 19, 2011 Posted December 19, 2011 (edited) Hello When you have a moment please take a look at my attached track and tell me what i'm doing wrong. My rockets are falling way short of my intended target, the fixed cannon pods are fine. Cheers Gunner....Rocket Attack What's going wrong.trk Edited December 19, 2011 by Gunnergolly Win 11 Home 64Bit, i7-13700K@5.2Ghz Water Cooled, 32 Gb RAM, PNY RTX4090, Pimax Crystal, Quest Pro, Realsimulator FSSB R3 ULTRA, Virpil/Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS combo, MFG Crosswind Pedals.
Isegrim Posted December 19, 2011 Posted December 19, 2011 (edited) You have to Switch the UGMB Setting to 0 when u want to use the S8 KOM Rockets, 1 for S8 Tsm Rockets and 2 for S13 122mm Rockets, 5 is setting for 23mm pods. So your Payload have to be Managed. :smilewink: Edited December 19, 2011 by Isegrim "Blyat Naaaaa" - Izlom
Gunnergolly Posted December 19, 2011 Author Posted December 19, 2011 Thanks for setting me straight.. Just had a quick read of the manual and it says:- "At the start of a mission, the rocket selector switch will be automatically set to comply with selected rockets from the mission planner. If more than one rocket type is selected, the selector will set first rockets by hard point number (outer on the left wing is #1 and outer on the right wing is #4). Before a second rocket type is used, you must select the dial position manually for the rocket type of gun pod. The same operation must be done after rearming the helicopter during a mission." In theory since i only had the one type of rocket loaded, then the switch should have already been pre-set. This is obviously no longer the case now in BS2. Thanks again for the replies.. In your Track you had 23mm Pods at outer Stations (1&4) so the UGMB was set to 5. :book: "Blyat Naaaaa" - Izlom
Gunnergolly Posted December 19, 2011 Author Posted December 19, 2011 Yup....................i understand now !!!. It's the first time that i have ever loaded those gun pods on pylons 1&4 which is what threw me. Normally i only use a Vikhr/rocket load so i've never had to use the UGMB switch as the rockets have already been "dialled" in correctly... I must read that manual and my own manual "quotations" more thoroughly in the future !!!...... Thanks......
