Activation code

After installing A-10C from the disk, it asks for my Serial number and hardware number. After doing this, I click on get Activation number and it comes back with incorrect hardware number. I have done it 3 times and it still says incorrect hardware number. Without that code, I can't even open the Sim.

Please tell what I have to do to get this to work.:mad:

 

Also if I try to run the A-10C patch 1.1.1.1, it says I have to install 1.1.1.0 first. What's with that??????:mad:

Regarding patch, the disc contains version 1.1.0.9. To patch to version 1.1.1.1, you first have to run patch to 1.1.1.0.

On the activation, which method are you using?

 

To ensure we are on the same "page", so to speak, I'll refer to this document: ftp://ftp1.files.eagle.ru/dcs/manuals/DCS-A-10C_Install_Guide_EN.pdf

(It should be available in the Doc folder of your install, and probably as a pamphlet inside the DVD box.)

 

As you can see, there are several methods of activation available, the default being "automatic" activation where you simply enter your serial number when prompted and press "Next", whereupon the application will contact the activation server to process the activation. Is this where you get the "incorrect hardware code" message?

 

There is also the option to use web site and/or e-mail activation, through pressing the "other" option in the activation prompt.

 

Also, you can check the code through this site: http://proactive.star-force.com/2.0/activate.php (It is also possible to activate manually through this site if you obtain a hardware code from the protect.exe application). If you enter your code and then press "Serial Number Parameters", you should be given information on the status of any activations.
