Toast Posted January 14, 2012 Posted January 14, 2012 It must have been in 2009 when I purchased Black Shark, and I must have used a different Username although I am sure it was the same email. Because my purchase of Black Shark 1 does not show on my profile. I could never log into that username so at some point I needed to log into the site so I created a new username. My harddrive crashed and I had to reformat and I lost everything. I wanted to get to flying again I could not prove I owned BS1 and I wanted to support ED so I bought the standalone BS2 under my new username. But my old system just cant handle it. I am running XP 32 Bit Intel Core 2 6300 @ 1.86GHz with 3.00 GB of RAM and a Nvidia GeForce 9600 GT I was getting frequent crashs and items in the cockpit like switchs, shkval, abris map, were disappearing. I followed Nate_IRL's advice and did the 3GB tweek, got new video card drivers, direct x, c++ patch, did a fresh install of BS2 twice and that sis seem to help some, I ran some missions and really love the new ATC and new AI is so much better. but I am still NOT able to run the sim consistently on this machine. I read the bugs forum and this seems to just be a result of my system being 32 bit and outdated and not up to running BS2. My hardware just seems too old. I hope to get a new system soon that will be up to the recommended specs for BS2. In the mean time I would really like to play Black Shark 1. I don't know my original log in that I used to buy Black Shark 1. I entered a ticket in the hopes that since I just purchased Black Shark 2 but was not able to run it that they would provide me with a serial number for Black Shark 1. Do you know how they could verify that I did indeed purchase Black Shark 1 back in 2009? I know it is the holidays and they are backed up I entered my ticket 2 days ago and I was just curious how long you think the wait may be? Do you think they will be willing to help me in this situation? What can I provide that will help them? I love ED and this community, you guys are the best, thanks for any help you can provide.
