Hey guys,

I finally purchased my i5-2500k. I got an ASRock Mobo, 8g 1600Mhz G.Skill RAM, 650W 80 Bronze PSU, 128GB OCZ SSD.

So now I'm stuck on a video card. I'm asking on this forum because DCS titles are really the reason I'm upgrading in the first place. That said, I hear a lot that on-board video memory isn't a big deal if you're only running a game 1920x1080p, but I was wondering if that is the case with DCS/ or any flight simulation titles.

I was thinking of keeping my HD5770 1gb and waiting for the HD 7850/7870 to come out in March, or just getting a 6950 2gb card now. I don't want to spend over $260 though, so I'm not looking to get a GTX 580 or HD 7950.

Those of you who have more than 1gb video memory, does it make a difference? Especially if I might want to run an MFD or two on a separate monitor?

Thanks for your time
