TGP with toggle switch and .LUA only?

Hey I've searched the forums but turned up nothing for this so if it is there just post a link and a short flame and I'll go back to lurking:doh:

 

What I want to do is configure my AHCP panel using .LUA to avoid using Helios. (only because I'd rather learn .LUA and have less software running etc)

 

I'm not having any luck with this as I'm too new at this and I dont know if its even possible. :huh:

 

the switch I'm experimenting with is the TGP rocker switch I tried to edit the command line to:

{combos = {{key = "JOY_BTN13"}, }, down = iCommandPlaneAHCPTGPOn, up = iCommandPlaneAHCPTGPOff, name = "TGP switch ON/OFF", category = "Armament HUD Control Panel"},

 

now the TGP switch in game doesn't respond anymore :smartass: throw me a clue?
