Postalp Posted April 23, 2012 Posted April 23, 2012 So I have the Steam version of Black Shark (1.0.2) and bought the upgrade version of BS2 (1.1.1.1 I think) BS2 works great, loving it. However, whenever I try to start BS1 the launcher crashes every time, anyone familiar with this error?
EtherealN Posted April 23, 2012 Posted April 23, 2012 What install location? I hope you didn't install BS2 into the BS1 folder - in this case that is the problem and crashes would result. If you did not install BS2 into the BS1 folder, you should be able to do a file verification through Steam (right-click and properties, unless I'm mistaken) and it will then repair the install. If you did install BS2 into the BS1 folder, this maneuver would break your BS2 install. (But you can reinstall elsewhere without burning an activation.) That did it, I guess the BS2 upgrade somehow tweaked a few files. Steam found the errors (4 total) and repaired them. Thanks Ethereal!
