rgrayhek Posted May 5, 2012 Posted May 5, 2012 Its been awhile since i played dsc games and reinstalled DSC Warthog and Blackshark 2. When i go to muliplayer to play with friends i really dont remember my login info anymore went to homesite to get a password reset being a cant login to to site. And i read other postings from other with no real solutions. My email has changed since and im not getting any response back from dev. To me this is very poor customer service as either something on there end is broken for those who forgot login info. And now no multiplayer experience for me just horriable. :(

I assume you have entered a support ticket? If so, could you PM me the ticket number? The only way I could think of would be to confirm your identity through something else, like your CC, but I don't know if they can do that. I can ask when I chat to support staff though. (EXTREMELY IMPORTANT NOTE: If you PM me your Ticket number, do NOT include CC details and such in that PM, that's not for me to know.) When did you enter your support ticket? Note that if it was yesterday or today, it is a weekend and things will for obvious reasons be happening slower. Also note that support staff are located half a day ahead of you, timezone-wise, so if you entered your support request yesterday afternoon your time, it was far into evening for them. ED can not be blamed for this. I stopped playing online was becasue edu never responded back to me with my legit email address and i never changed email then when i originally forgot password and simply gave up. Does that answer your question? My games where purchased from steam and only the upgrade for BlackShark 2 was purchased from EDU.:) So how can i update my account if i cant login and simpily forgot. Is this a problem for someone who buys on steam and not EDU? Do you really want me to give you my profile page on steam to see my games purchased from store ok here it is http://steamcommunity.com/id/Doatg/games?tab=all now my email is different than the comcast one so i really hope somebody at EDU can help. Unfortunately, it appears their systems tend to belive mails from ED customer support is spam and outright deletes it. This has been a recurring problem. So it is entirely possible that staff responded to you, but your ISP deleted the e-mails in question before they came to you. (This is why support is preferably handled through the ticket system.) Ok thanks then for your help i hope it gets resolved so i can play BlackShark 2 and DSC Warthog with friends online. Will this be an issue if and when i buy the P-51?:)
EtherealN Posted May 6, 2012 Posted May 6, 2012 Should not be an issue, but do remember to consider login details like this to be a valuable document and store it accordingly - think of it like a PIN code to your Credit Card or similar. The CC equivalent to this is forgetting the PIN, having moved house (without informing your bank) and not having any valid photo ID.
