Wise to go with 1.1.1.1 for training purposes?

In light of 1.2.0's voice issues, do you all think its wise to go with 1.1.1.1 to learn the systems (from startup to shut down)? Or is there another way to train without the voice?

In 1.2.0 you can still read what the instructor is saying, but if thats a problem i dont see the problem with using 1.1.1.1 :)

As far as i know all voice in 1.2.0 is broken. So i dont think so.

One challenge with doing it in 1.2.0 is that the triggers for responding to hitting various buttons as directed etc aren't active until the instructor finishes speaking. This means if you're a fast reader and hit the appropriate button, you might think it didn't take since nothing happens with the instruction for 10-15 seconds until he finishes reading (even though you can't hear him). Whatever action of the button happens causes happens immediately not after the delay. Not a big deal, just something to be aware of.

IMHO I don't think it is wise or even necessary. I bought the game 2 days ago and the lack of voices is a pain.

 

But I'm watching the tutorials on Eagle Dynamics YouTube channel. I can pause and rewind when I want. It helps a lot!

Leumas, you can also get online and learn from other pilots. The vast majority of the community is really good about helping new-comers to our "hobby."
