Create Fast Mission - Add FARP

Hi

 

When using 'Create Fast Mission' my Ka-50 normally starts at an airfield a long way from the battle area.

 

Is there any way I can edit the mission and put a FARP closer to the action and move my Ka-50 and wingy's aircraft from the airfield to the FARP ?

 

I always prefer to start from the ramp.

To place FARP do following.

 

Create fast mission in usual way.

Click edit mission button to bring created mission into ME.

Go to EDIT and scroll down to place STATIC object. you will find a FARP in there first in list.

Place it on map where you want it (make sure it matches your country!).

Click and drag player heli onto it. alter waypoints as necessary. Your wingman comes with you when you do this.

 

TO REFUEL/REARM YOU WILL HAVE TO POPULATE FARP WITH APPROPRIATE VEHICLES. I haven't bothered yet so cannot list all the vehicles. (there is a FARP thread which explains this though).Basically you need a fuel truck,power truck and a couple of others I believe. its not hard to find out.

Thanks a lot, I haven't really got into the ME yet, just a few minor changes with the A-10, like repositioning a JTAC that's placed behind a tall building ??

Humvee M1025

Transport M818

Tanker 978 HEMTT

Transport M818

 

RED

 

SKP-11 ATC Mobile CC

ATZ-10 or ATMZ-5 fuel truck

APA-80 or APA-50 ground power unit

Ural-375 truck

From the above info I have now successfully created a FARP and managed to get rearming and refuelling.

 

As mentioned in another post the FARP Ammo Dump doesn't appear to be working with this version, but substituting it with the M818 Truck works fine.
