IADC Posted August 23, 2012 Posted August 23, 2012 ED Team, Would it possible for mission builders to have a thread only they can access so they can add/Delete stuff and update as well as have all their content in one thread for people to find easily? Several good things would come of it, people would know staright away when that mssion builder has made changes or aded new content as his post moves to the top of the que. All that builders content is in one place easy to access. The builder can make easy edits to mission posts updating pilots of changes etc without creating a new post or having several comment posts in the thread which helps pilots keep abreast of developments to a particular mission. Cheers
Grimes Posted August 23, 2012 Posted August 23, 2012 (edited) I usually edit the first post in the missions thread to have updated info + an updated download link and then make a new post in that thread announcing the changes with another link for download. Plus I also look for any other instance where I posted a download link for the mission and put the new download in there. That way new players will always have the correctly updated mission and old players can download a new version if they want to. I mean an individual missions thread or even a builders personal thread for missions is more than enough. Sure there might be random discussion in there where updates can get buried. But thats what the first post in the thread, the mission stickies, ED user files, and any other organized download website is for. IADC Posted August 23, 2012 Author Posted August 23, 2012 No thats fair enough. What I also do though is remove my old missions and update them as well so people dont get the old one by mistake. Thanks
