Canopy problem?

If the F-18 is shot down , the canopy still stays attached to the airplane.

Could this be fixed?

Pilot already jumped.Canopy stays all the way attached till the airplane crashes.

 

For the F-16 it seems to be correct the canopy is gone after the airplane is hit:

No idea if this concerns other A/C as well.

 

I wil check for others A/C
