msalama Posted November 11, 2012 Posted November 11, 2012 I've got this mission where a pair of Ka-50s take off at dawn, one human, one AI. It's a winter morning but not pitch black outside so NVGs f.ex. are not needed, but still the AI pilot fails to see enemy units in plain sight 50 yards away when recceing Have you guys seen this? Erforce Posted November 11, 2012 Posted November 11, 2012 I'm guessing if you're using NVG, that's because you can't really see outside. And if your eyes can't see, what does a poor CCD can do? imho, the Shkvals can't lock. ===> your AI is blind (and dumb anyway with datalink atm) am i right ? msalama Posted November 11, 2012 Author Posted November 11, 2012 (edited) the Shkvals can't lock. ===> your AI is blindThat just ain't right. Because if I can see the buggers by naked eye, then so should the AI. EDIT: and oh yeah, they saw them just fine in v.1.2.1. Edited November 11, 2012 by msalama The DCS Mi-8MTV2.
