RotoFly Posted November 14, 2012 Posted November 14, 2012 not updater DCS world updater to 1.227204 .
handy320430 Posted November 14, 2012 Posted November 14, 2012 Hi Dozer. I had exactly the same problem When I tried to install blackshark2. I had a look on all the Forum pages. And fixes they were suggesting were too hard for me to try. I'm pretty new at this sort of stuff. So what I did was uninstall DCS world. And reinstall it. That brought back DCS world to the original version 1.2.2.7122. And then I downloaded the blackshark2 module again. And I was able to install it. The problem seems to be if you install a module in to or just DCS world and then apply the update it takes DCS world to version 1.2.2.7204. And if you try to add another module after this you keep coming up with the same problem. So now I am leaving DCS world at version 1.2.2.7122 until I had finished purchasing and installing all the other modules and then I will apply the update. I hope this has not been a long winded answer as I am quite new to this. Other people have posted workarounds for this problem but like I said I am not very good at changing configuration settings. So this was the best solution I could find for myself. I hope this has been helpful to you.
