jers Posted November 14, 2012 Posted November 14, 2012 (edited) Hi, so I have a bit of experience with the mission editor so I have a pretty good idea of it's limitations, but this one has got me stumped. http://airhorndev.us/OpKano3.miz This mission right here crashes mercilessly in a really funny way (described below) unless hosted by someone with an ungodly amount of pipe/CPU, and even then it crashed a few minutes in 50% of the time. This only happens in Multiplayer and usually when about 6 or more people join. There are a small number of triggers, maybe three trigger zones, no complex logic. The problems present as 95% or so of the players in the mission getting dropped. The host is usually (but not always) fine. The clients that get disconnected usually hard lock up, so their either CTD or have to use Task Manager to kill the process. We can always rejoin, but the problem usually manifests itself again shortly, and it's almost always after someone does *something*, be it fire the GAU, it happened once when I blacked out in an F-15, pickle a bomb, stuff like that. Please let me know what I can do to help figure out what's causing this! List of unusual things that I have here that aren't in other missions that work fine: Mig-29's and Su-27 are placed on airports across the world, this was my first theory, so in the file I uploaded above I moved them all to Tbilisi but I haven't had time to test that theory out yet. jers Posted November 14, 2012 Author Posted November 14, 2012 So I had about 140 AI units on the field, I'm gonna try dropping that by about half and see if I can get the mission to actually perform.
