Maverick Force Correlate - return to normal mode again?

Hey guys,

in the manual it says:

To enter force correlate mode, the Boat Switch must be in the center position and held there for

greater than 1 second while no target is locked.

Alright. Usually it's enough to put the boat switch into center position and just TMS up short to lock something.

Problem though - how do you return to "normal" tracking mode? Just putting the boat switch fwd/aft does not do anything. The only thing that works is putting boat switch out of center WHILE slewing the maverick around...

I think this is a bug. Or is it real life operation?

Funny - have the maverick in force correlate mode, then put the boat switch in a non center position (ctrl+D for example). It will stay in force correlate mode. Now slew the maverick around and press ctrl+D again, you will not see the boat switch move because it already is in that position but the maverick will leave force correlate mode. That makes me think that this is a bug.

Some real life input on this anyone? I attached a track showing the weird behaviour of the boat switch. (Weird to me at least). Look how at the end the boat switch is NOT in center, but the MAV stays in force correlate mode until I start slewing it around and then pressing the keys again.

Thanks a lot in advance!
