cricnewbye Posted December 26, 2012 Posted December 26, 2012 Hello everybody. Until 2 days ago I had DCS World 1.2.1 and A-10C module running fine. Then I bought BS2 so I got a key downloaded the module installed it and registered my key. Then I tried to run the Training mission from the game menu but when I try to click start mission nothing happens. I also noticed that SU-25T now also has Training mission while before in 1.2.1 it had not but these ones also don't run if I click start mission. A-10C Training Mission instaed works fine as before. Now I searched the Forums and read that in the past there were problems related to these training missions and also read that perhaps these are not reallt interactive like in A-10C but only videos to download and integrate but I'm confused so I would kindly ask you to give me a quick tip to practice these mission without messing up the whole DCS system trying to install fixed or videos that could be updated or incompatible.... Cheers!
Pigmachine Posted December 26, 2012 Posted December 26, 2012 The ka-50 'interactive' training disappeared quite some time ago, but are available on the forums, in a new version. At least used to be, and not sure why they aren't easy to find, or even included anymore! Might be the same with the su-25 training (haven't tried/searched, since I don't care about the plane in question) CPU i7-6700K 4,3Ghz, RAM Corsair Vengeance LPX 2666M 2x16GB, GPU Gigabyte Gaming G1 GTX 1080, Monitor Benq 24" 1920x1080 @ 144Hz, MB ASUS Z170-A, OS Win 10 Pro (Creators ED), HOTAS X52 Pro, VR Oculus Rift Cv1
cricnewbye Posted December 26, 2012 Author Posted December 26, 2012 Okey thanks for the quick reply. Now at least I know that my installation is not corrupted... So these "interactive" missions are the one made by an user called big foot who has a main thread in the relevant forum? And should they be installed manual i.e putting the miz file somewhere? Tx for the help mate
Pigmachine Posted December 26, 2012 Posted December 26, 2012 Don't remember the name, just that the 'official' new ones a pretty low res videos, that's not the least interactive, so get the ones that is 'player-made' and it should work, put in the folder that's recommended.
