Greetings, community...

I've recently got DCS A-10C (Christmas sale, yay!) and a Saitek X52 Pro system and I'm having a weird problem mapping my Coolie Switch... Maybe someone has run into it?

Here's what's happening:

I have decided to map the Throttle Hat for Coolie Switch functions. I also decided to use Button mapping instead of mapping it directly via JOY_BTN functions. The reason for that is that it enables me to write the command name in the profiler and it displays it in Clutch mode, which is convenient, not to mention more portable, IMO.

I map it to U, H, J and K keys respectively, and it works, but the Coolie Switch Left Short and Left Long commands are behaving erraticaly. The short command is supposed to cycle left MFCD modes and the long command is supposed to set the SOI to the left MFCD.

The problem is: I can almost always set the SOI by just tapping the Throttle Hat, but I cannot reliably cycle the modes. It seems that the Long/Short command isn't being processed correctly.

I have no other mappings in DCS assigned to the function, that is, I don't have the JOY_BTN assigned to the same function as well. If I clear the profiler mappings, set the throttle hat to no function and map the Hat via JOY_BTN, it works correctly. But I lose the clutch notifications as well.

Has anyone run into this? Any workarounds, or should I just quit screwing around and map the Hat in JOY_BTN mode?

P.S: Yeah, I know, I'm saving up for a TM Warthog already... But TrackIR has to go first... And in the meantime, one has to fly somehow. :)

Do you have your stick connected to an extension or hub? If so, they don't work well connected like that. Just connect it directly to the computer. If it is connected directly to the computer, try making sure that all your cables are connected all the way. Or, you may want to try another USB port on your system. I had issues like that when my stick was connected to a hub and extension. Hope that helps.
