I bought a pair of TM Cougar MFD's new and cheap over a month ago at Mircocenter, $54! I Love them! Love them so much I wanted them on my actual second screen with the actual displays in them! So I went through hours of learning how, and help, and finally got my MFD's mounted with the actual screens fit just PERFECT in them! Looked absolutely killer!! Hated them.

With my second monitor (with the MFD's mounted) on the right, they're on the same side as my mouse and stick. Plus, turning to look and taking my eyes away from my target, letting go of the stick, or grabbing the mouse etc., to push a button... I may as well just had used the mouse and watched the screen. Looked great, hated it. So now I have their bases attached to the monitor riser with velcro, so they are in the accurate spots where they would be on the dash, and just below my main monitor. Now I can easily hold the stick and use my throttle hand on the MFD's rather than looking to the side or using the mouse. Love them again!!

Having to take my eyes off target, or not be able to use my free hand, wasn't going to work in a tight spot... things moving too fast for that. Just goes to show... what looks the coolest, isn't always the most functional. I still have grander ideas, but this is gonna work 'til then!!

Hahahahaha same with me, made a numberplate acrylic fit my monitor with velco, redid my lua to make the MFD's fit the inside of the cougars, attached the mfd's to the number plate & then the monitor, looked excellent. BUT........

Image was tiny, kept pushing my monitor out of position if, in the heat of battle I hit one of the keys tooo hard, was really pants. So....

I reattached the bases to the MFd's and they now sit on my desk and the MFD's on my monitor are lovely and big :)

Best Regards
