LNR212 Posted February 11, 2013 Posted February 11, 2013 maybe the next days i will new set up my machine with an ssd and a clean windows. do i have to "deactivate" my modules on my old pc, or are they just lost when i reformat my pc and use one of my remaining keys? if yes, how do i deactivate? thanks!
EtherealN Posted February 11, 2013 Posted February 11, 2013 No new serial number is needed, each serial number has many activations. However, when switching to a new PC, a new activation will be deducted from your serial number. If your serial number runs out, it will automatically be given a new activation 30 days after this. You can deactivate, and thus keep the existing activation, through running the protect.exe found in ..\DCS World\Mods\aircrafts\[MODULE]\bin\ and selecting the deactivation option.
