Only 1 (one) Ka 50 and Mi 24 in another flight with communication. Possible?

I just want to build a simple mission with me flying a KA-50 as a spotter with NO KA-50 wingman with another flight consisting of one or two Mi-24's. Trying to replicate a 'PINK' Team like used in VietNam where you had the LOH (Loach)(WHITE Team) and the Huey Cobra (RED team) working together.

I can't seem to build this in the Mission Editor where I can get communication between my other MI-24's unless I have a KA-50 wingman -then I get communication with them in the Radio Menu.
