Right after the release of 1.2.3, I was able to play the game without any problem but now, it can't get to the loading screen but stuck on the pre-loading screen that is a little window with logo pop up in the middle of the monitor just before it gets to actual loading screen, when I try to play mission/start up MP. Not only me but also many of other buddies(7-8 people) were suffering from this issue yesterday night, some of the lucky guy could get into 3D/start up MP after the bunch of attempts, I couldnt manage to play the game at all. We thought it's an authentication server being overloaded however the problem still present this morning, I want ED team to look into the issue. Thanks in advance.
verana_ss Posted February 28, 2013 Author Posted February 28, 2013 Ahhh forget about the authentication server... It seems like 1.2.3 doesn't like being out-focused when loading things. When you have 2 different languages to type, OS seems to try to pick up the best language that suits for the software when is run and the switching is often done during the loadtime, causing the out-focusing. So the solution is to temporarily put out all of the keyboard except keyboard(US) in the language bar(or in region and language in control panel) so that it wont try to "pick up".
