RamenRider Posted March 24, 2013 Posted March 24, 2013 Just started using this sim and I've been looking to practice start-up and navigation. I couldn't find a simple mission to takeoff, fly around 5 way points and land again, so I decided to try my hand at the mission editor. I created a mission but when I "fly" it, I`m started in the air - which makes no sense to me. I then tried to change the start time in the briefing screen per the 143-page mission editor manual and couldn't - the numbers are locked-in. How can I set mission for a ramp start? I've spent the last 1 hour just trying to figure out how to practice flying in circles. Could anyone provide some assistance, please? Much appreciated.
shabo Posted March 24, 2013 Posted March 24, 2013 (edited) in the editor, click on the a/c you want to fly, on the right hand side youll see all the "details" for that aircraft. under the waypoints section, you will see "start from ramp" "Start from runway" ramp your engines are not running, runway they are ill post a pic in a minute here you go, see the drop down... hope this helps Edited March 24, 2013 by shabo [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] www.wargamelabs.com you might need a life if you computer specs are in your sig ;)
nAyo Posted March 24, 2013 Posted March 24, 2013 When you click on your jet you have the menu to the right of the screen that pops up. At the bottom of this you have a scroll menu on "Type" and just pick Start from runway (jet is started ready to take off) or Start from ramp (you'll have to start everything).
klub44 Posted March 24, 2013 Posted March 24, 2013 I was missing them simple training missions from FC2 in A10. No talking gobshit, just text messages and checkpoints, to practice what you've learn in lessons. BTW how that looks in FC3?
RamenRider Posted March 24, 2013 Author Posted March 24, 2013 Thank you. I may get some practice in this weekend, yet.
